As you already know, over the last year and the current one we are implementing the second phase of the project AgroSOStainable, with the support of the Biodiversity Foundation, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment, and the European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA) in areas of the Natura 2000 network of Madrid and Castilla-La Mancha.
We work with farmers for the conservation of wildlife associated with the agricultural world, which has suffered a dramatic decline in recent decades as a result of the intensification of agriculture.
A new feature in this second year of the project, and as we did in the A Little Owl on each Olive tree project, we will label products from sustainable crops. This label guarantees that the purchased product is produced by favorable agricultural uses for conservation of biodiversity.
It is a way to give a little added value to these products from agricultural production means friendly to the environment and to recognize the work of farmers committed to the biodiversity conservation.
Look for these labels, and remember that buying these products you are contributing to populate our fields with many species of birds.
